When I asked for a free camp near Cambooya, someone suggested this rest area. It was great. Had to juse ear plugs for traffic noise but facilities were good. Flushing toilets, 3 big rotundas to eat out of the weather, free BBQ, playground, walking track, swimming hole (locals were using it due to hot day). Lots of people stop to use the toilets but it was still a good tarred, level site to stop. We were going to stop outside the Wyreema Community Hall but were told that wasn't allowed.
