well as some of the guys knew we were looking at heading out to birdsville

in november, we have now been talking to people and since we had a very hot sunday

here not so long ago and i could not handle my stocking on and had to sit up in the

loungeroom after a swim in the pool and leave my leg elevated and do nothing because

of the stocking not being on ,i then spoke to the people we are going with who said well

apparently birdsville will be in the over 40's so we are giving it a miss till next year in winter time

'

But we are heading or nindigully pub and im sooooo excited taking our van too ,our friends are taking

there camper van (tent on wheels i call it ) not a fan of them but they are happy with there set up

so we are heading out for five days yipeeeeeeeeee ,ive looked at it  on the net and also u tubed

catching yabbies as they have yabbies out there ,temps are not too high round the 30 mark i can

handle that plus a river so all will be ok i can soak my leg in the river to keep the heat down on it.

 

im just so excited and so is mr glassies too.

Thats great news Della, enjoy your trip out there. Can understand how the heat would affect your leg as my son here, wears a stocking on his bad leg permanently. The heat really plays up with it.
How is your health now, have been keeping an eye out for your results, not seen any yet. Hope that means good news.

Spent a couple of days at Nindigully pub in late August - me, Billeeeeeee and Cruising Granny - had a nice meal at the pub - they had the pie - raved over it, I had a lamb rump - yumbo!!!!! Happy hour, when the bell rings, is great and very social - really good atmosphere there.

we have been at nindy twice this year good food and lubrication settles the dust
toilets and good showers() donation very friendly place u will love it
