Carcoar Dam

Currently at Carcoar Dam (Camps6, NSW #491) after leaving the Blue Mountains area and now on the way to the Snowy Mountains.  Weather has turned cold, so will stay at this pleasant place for a few days until it warms up.

This is a great spot!  Quiet, water, toilets, unfortunately tho showers are listed, they aren't working.  It is very sunny tho, facilitating the solar heater & shower tent as well as the solar panel (which should be more efficient in the colder weather!!).   Traveling well and wish the same to all others out there living the life!BarcoarDam.jpg

That's a lovely spot Anton. Can be a bit crowded on weekends and holidays, but who can complain, its free.
