Dad has his annual driving test today (Wednesday )
Part of me wants him to get it for one last time,
And part of me will be happy when its all over, ..
I'll drive him any where .....
Some times I wished I'd kept my mouth shut last years and
Just let things happen naturally but guess we'll know this arvo..
Some time even tho you have the best intentions but it doesn't
Turn out the way you want.....
Like that poem with the bird warm in the manure when it's cold and a cat comes over
And eats him, some times it's better to be warm than eaten... Or something like that..
Milo - you can't undo what's done - so don't beat yourself up over what has happened in the past. Look to the future - enjoy what you have with your dad, he may very well pass the test - but if he doesn't, well in your heart you know you were right.
Good luck, whatever way it comes out.

he passed the test, driving for another 2 years.. but he did say when he's at the stage of not enjoying driving he'll give it away, so cant argue with that i guess..
