The owners of this program have now decided to offer it free free. I have used it for a few years and even paid for it.
Version 11 has just been released! We'll update the website later this week! :)
Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the ultimate uninstaller for Windows, allowing you to uninstall programs quickly and completely using its simple and intuitive interface.
No need to worry about stubborn programs ever again!
Advanced Uninstaller PRO features an Installation Monitor that keeps track of all changes performed to your computer during software installations; this way you can later completely uninstall any program and make sure nothing is left behind. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is able to uninstall any program without a trace.
Advanced Uninstaller PRO can also remove a lot of items that other uninstallers can't even touch. It can repair broken registry entries, clean non-functional Start Menu shortcuts, uninstall annoying browser toolbars, plugins and hijackers, remove fonts and get rid of startup programs that run in your system tray and slow down your computer.
looks like a good program, I have just installed it, for those that do not want AVG make sure you select Custom install and don't tick any boxes, I am away ay the current time but will do a backup of my system when I get home and then try out some of the options in this program.
Norton is a program that a lot of people want removed and there is a tool on their site but even that does not remove ALL of Norton, would this program remove ALL of the Norton crap that is installed by this company?
Downloaded it but when I tried to install it Kaspersky Pure didn't like it & recommended that I not proceed. Something about a driver that Kaspersky would not be able to control.
I too have used it for a few years now myself on both XP and Win7 without any major problems .. There were though many instances where it was not able to fully remove certain installations .. so don't be surprised if that happens to you also .. That could also be attributed to your own Windows setup which has numerous variables that restrict functional interactivity between programmes .. basically, its a compatability thing !
For those interested, my only (official) protection on both computers is Windows (free) Microsoft Security Essentials installed on both my puters .. it works for me !

my son also only uses Windows (free) Microsoft Security Essentials but I prefer Trend Micro, but I do not purchase from Trend (too expensive) purchase on eBay only each year for 1/3 of the price, but do not fall for buying a licence only on eBay, get a disk posted to you at home.
In regards to Win 8, I was talking to a guy in JB yesterday and he said if you don't like Win 8 you press the Windows key and you have Win 7 without the start button but you then go to the Microsoft shop online and purchase for $2 an app that will give you back the start button, hmmmm now it looks interesting.
