Campania 30kms north east of Hobart

After posting at Huonville I took off for Campania a free camp some 30kms north east of Hobart via Richmond. Why Campania? Billeee & Jules have the van booked in for service tomorrow in Hobart and will be camping at the showgrounds for $17 per night then going into Hobart for the day whilst the van gets its service. There will plenty of things that they will want to do for the day and most will cost money so I have gone to the nearest free camp in the direction that we will be heading on Tuesday.

A very quiet place Campania and the camp in the Old Flour Mills Park is flat, grassy has an electric BBQ, flushing toilets and a water tap. Went for a walk into the township which consists of a General Store and Tavern. Just the place to catch up with washing, showering and the odd jobs that have accumulated.

If you drive through past the sports rectangle the area opens up and there is plenty of room, another van parked there and we were the only ones parked overnight in the park. Anton (loki) from the forum was passing and recognized the van and called in for a chat so that was a pleasant interlude.    John

So John you'll have to personalize the Coaster so you get more droppers in...otherwise life might be quieter.
