Cradle Mountain revisited & Hellyer Gorge

Well we got to Cradle Mountain a bit late to do all the walks that we had hoped but did get to Marions Lookout and then to the views of Cradle Mountain and finishing up walking round Dove Lake.  On the way back I asked the Shuttle Bus driver if there was a stop where we could see wombats, last time I had been told that Rons Creek was a good possibility now that the afternoon was moving on. We got off and walked to the end of the broad walk and whilst walking back were treated to a procession of big fat wombats walking across the broad walk.

Set off from Cradle Mountain and drove to Hellyer Gorge Camps6 #185 where we have set up camp for the night and again no Optus or Telstra internet. Looks like a stop in Wynyard to catch up with the blog and forum enroute to Stanley and the Nut. I have to rely on Hannas camera because whilst I charged up my second battery at Kentish Park I didnt carry it with me and the one in the camera died after one photo. There is a 15 minute rainforest walk taking you past the river so did that this morning. Last night watched more of Mrs Brown's Boys with pauses and explanations.   John
