First Trip Solo without The Kids

Hi Guys and Gals, An exciting time for me i built a motor home maybe 10 years ago and since then have travelled to every state in Australia many times but always accompanied by the Ankle Biters it has been very enjoyable, met a lot of people and seen a lot of things, now kids have grown up and and released the noose i still have a couple of weeks holiday left so i quickly booked a SINGLE fare on the Spirit of Tasmania for monday 28/1/2013 day cruise docking Devonport that evening. Plans are to go to Launceston spend the next day there then travel to Hobart couple days then travel up the west coast back to Devonport and heading home. i am so excited doing this short trip on my own, looking forward to meeting fellow travellers on the road and in quiet country pubs having a chat and exchanging stories of places and travel experiences over a beer or camp, if you are in Tasmania in that time and you see a Toyota Dyna with a Viscount Caravan mounted and fixed on the back resembleming a home brew Motor home please give me a hoy! My vehicle is very noticeable on the road and proudly bears the name " LOSERBAGO"

Looking forward to meeting some more fellow travellers and hearing moe travelling Tales

Andy

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the forum. I've seen a few vans mounted on a truck and I think it's a great way to go. Enjoy your trip to Tassy, sounds wonderful.

Welcome to the forum from us pinballpat. What a pity you haven't got longer for Tassie. I'm sure you will want to go back after your first 'taste'. Love the van/motorhome.
