Hull Heads Campground

Anyone interested in good fishing and mudcrabbing should check out this spot.It is a council run campground right at the mouth of the Hull River, approx  20 Ks east of Tully Nth Qld. Toilets and showers. No power available. Also dogs are allowed. Great fishing off the river bank or off the beach. Good crabbing up the river if you have a tinny. Prawns can be caught by castnet or drag net. There is a pub and shop- caravan park at the intersection of Hull Heads and Tully Heads road approx 2ks away. Great meals at the pub also. Maximum  stay of 4days at campground. If anyone wants more info please feel free to pm me.

I,m sorry to say its now $12 a night. Blame amalgamation. Also , Yasi destroyed the place , so I would ring the concil or the store to see how it fared. Perhaps the coast guard at Hull heads is also worth a try. Bill

We are now at Hull heads where the coast guard building is. Good little spot, NO GENERATORS , 4 nights stay maximum and $15.50 a night. No power here at all you need solar panels. There are toilets and water and the river is on one side and the ocean the other, GET IN BY 1pm. Fills fast. If your small weave your way behind the vans to find camping spots, Happy travels.
