Plunge is right, Dawa. The Manning River is just an inch from breaking its banks here in Taree. Lots of flooding and isolated communities up the coast around the Clarence. And the forecast is for more rain over the coming weeks. I still have a few things that need "tidying up" with PJ (the motorhome), and I'll need dry weather for that. But I reckon by early April I'll be ready to hit the road on my first foray into the gypsy lifestyle. Lots of pics and a vid comin' up!
I need holes drilled in the tray to bolt the brackets, Bill. The bloke who made the brackets says he'll do it next week. Then I have to rustle up a mate who said he'd help me with the mounting. That's what happens when your only skill is typing 60wpm. Hehe. So I expect to have the pics in two weeks. Rest assured they'll be on the GN forum as soon as PJ is set up. I'll take one lying on my back looking up at the rear of the Freeway as though it was the Empire State Building. There'll be two more jobs after that... a gas fitter to check the copper pipes and fittings (and fit a 9kg gas bottle) and an auto electrician to connect an AGM battery to the solar panel and 240V inverter. I also want the house battery connected to the car battery with an isolator switch. And then she'll be ready to rock and roll!
