Sounds like the place we went to in Tassie. I rang and was told a 9 metre motor home was $37. OK I said and drove there. Get to check in I am told "you are higher than standard so pay double". Fortunately there was a car park opposite their entry so we spent the night there for free. I was too tired to drive any further.

I am gobsmacked. why do they want double for being higher. it takes up the same space. good on you for not staying there.
One park over there also has a habbit of quoting x price over the phone and when you get there they say ,that price was for one person and there are two of you, so the price is xx.So if you ring for a booking over there make sure you mention how many there is of you.
Was just reading a c/ van park in Adelaide never used to allow dogs ( while we were staying there anyway ) now i am reading they allow dogs but $3 per day per dog must be on a leash and at the discretion of owner. So see if they can make a $ out of someones beloved dog they will.
I've seen a woman take her dog into the shower in a caravan park, she must have showered the dog too (it was a biggish German Shepherd cross-breed), as they both came out wet. Another woman asked her if she was going to clean the dog-hair out of the shower but she just walked off. Not all dog-owners are responsible!
