Gday...

Yank site but that notwithstanding, the article/blog indicates the symbols displayed are for those vehicles fitted with Tyre(Tire?) Pressure Measurement System (TPMS).

My vehicle doesn't have TPMS (and I doubt if I would ever lash out and buy one) so I would never see the symbols discussed. n d

Cheers - John

(I have tried both the previous links I posted here and they open ok ??????).

Nah.......just tried the weblink and they want $40 to ask a mechanic if the answer is correct.....stuff that !

Have a go at just googling Australian Vehicles Tyre Pressure Warning Light and see what happens, that's what I did.

While on the subject of "what do these lights mean?"

Over Christmas our vehicle thought it woud get into the spirit of things and so it lit up the dash like a Christmas tree.

The ETS, BAS/ESP, ETC and brake warning lights came on.

I soon found out what they mean? BIG DOLLARSf

Try this link;  http://www.justanswer.com/archives/search-solr.aspx?q=Tyre+Pressure+Warning+Lights+&c=56333

(I have tried both the previous links I posted here and they open ok ??????  Not sure why this is happening)

If the new one shown doesn't work, try googling www.justanswer.com then type Tyre Pressure Warning Lights in the search area....

PS:  You can choose your vehicle make too....

Gday...

Still sorry Vic - I still get No Access coz of no permission. So as you said, I just typed in www.justanswer.com and asked a question.

that took me to a page where I had to provide personal details for "my online solicitor" before my question would be 'answered' ..... HUH What the......... h

Gave up .... anyway, my vehicle does not have TPMS so I don't need to know about those symbols anyway - but thanks for the heads up

Cheers - John

Gday...

Just puddled around in the justanswer site and found the category for 'cars' .... Land Rover is not in the list so guess they don't rate within the Justanswer site

Cheers - John

No frills motoring is my '94 Courier, and that's the way I like it. No power anything, no fancy gizmos.

I guessed what the symbol was Duh although I have never seen it before. c

Slightly off topic, how many people have been driving a different vehicle and, when pulling in to refuel thought.."ummm which side of the car is the filler?"

Lots of ppl don't realise (if they ever saw it) what the little arrow on the fuel gauge is for.  Well, it points to the side of the car the filler is on.

There, you learnt something today....ha ha

Cheers Neil
