Thank you dear friends, you are so kind. I do feel a part of "The Family" now. My initiation to Greens Lake was a great experience thanks to you all.

Howdy Steve, yes I'm safely settled Jules for the night in a free camp about 30km north of West Wyalong. Aiming at Tamworth tomorrow night. As long as a big truck doesn't come flying of the bridge near me I will still be here in the morning.

I am at Koondrook CP next to Barham, resisted the temptation to drive all the way to Mildura ( i do listen to you Jules). Had my first hot shower for many days,

the Caravan Park Boss told me to get out before the tank runs dry!   Broken Hill in 3 days I expect.

Take care all and travel safe. looking forward to hearing about your next adventures. Doug, if there is any chance of a truck jumping the bridge, MOVE, you have a very important date that you cannot be late for. It is either that or go up and put a NO Truck JUMPMING sign on the bridge.

I'll add my best wishes. Good to meet someone who thinks like me!

Be good if the rest of the world thought the same.

Hi All, I am at Cobar tonight on my way to Lightning Ridge. I did stay at Silverton for 2 days at the Penrose Caravan Park ($14 with Power). I loved Silverton and will be back there one day. If you get there you must have a look inside the Old Gaol, brillant displays. I was hoping to catch up with Ziggy (Esperidan) in LR but he told me on the phone today that he has had generator probs and is broke for now. Oh and for those that were at Greens, Wombat has bought an old Toyota Camper for $800 and says that he will be on the road soon. What a great Bloke. I hope everyone is OK.

All the best Steve

Good to hear from you Steve - Silverton Gaol takes me back - my son was about 6, loved a bath, was running thru the place came upon a huge bath, jumped in - got out pretty quick when his sister told him it was the embalming bath!!!!!!

All good people go to Greens at some stage Steve. Don't think Ziggy will EVER leave Greens, the way he is going.

We are at Eden, probably leave tomorrow - north to Tabourie Lakes, etc etc!!

Take care!
