the hut

Well I have the use of a hut for the winter and right welcome it is too.

Rent free;  no power but I have solar.

Wood stove...open fire place....and a little slow combustion space heater as well.

The camper will be empty and i can get it all spic and span ready for sale.

10 mins into Grenfell.

I am able to save here and may be able to afford a better MH than i had planned.

Dawa

So good for you Dawa - much better for the winter, and a bit of room as well!! How long do you think you will be there? Into the summer?

Enjoy the comfort.

You little beauty, Dawa. How fortunate indeed! BTW, my mother's nickname was Nellie. Nellie Kelly hehe. She hated it and constantly reminded everyone that her name was Ellen, but it didn't do any good. Meanwhile, the hut sounds like a wonderful adventure, kinda like something from the 19th century with a slow combustion heater and rustic atmosphere. And only 10 minutes from town!

Excellent Dawa, sounds like everything is working out in your favour. Hmmm, don't know about the farmer wants a wife, but never say never Dawa, just never know who is around the corner. Maybe not a farmer but some other unlikely lad out there ready to knock on your heart.
Stay safe for the Winter and if I ever get my MH then maybe you might just get a visit.

Sharon.

Good for you Dawa.
Nothing like a wood fire. Food taste better and the smell of the fire is something else.
Hope your little hut is comfy for you as I am sure it will be as I know when I spend a week or two in the house boat it feels like luxury after living in the bus all the time, and my bus would be large to yours.
I use my little choofer all the time for cooker where possible.
I am with you re the farmer needs a wife. Some of us have been there done that and prefer to just enjoy what we have and not look for the impossible.
I am going north into SA for my winter so I hope to be a bit warmer than here in Kilmore at the moment.
Wind blowing and nearly freezing , thank god for electric blankets LOL.
Regards
Brian
