Any suggestions for a safe place to park in Moe? Festival this Sunday?

Hi all, rather than drive all teh way home and stay sober I was hoping someone may have a suggestion of where to park up safely on Sunday night? Do you think I would be moved on if I just parked near the Old Gippstown complex?

Gday...

I'm afraid I would NOT park anywhere on any street, rest area, park etc within, or too near, Moe. The town, whilst shaking its reputation gradually, is still a bit rough.

I can only suggest, from a google search, the Lake Narracan Van and Camping park - http://turu.com.au/parks/vic/gippsland/lake-narracan-caravan-park---camping-ground.aspx

Definitely not from personal use though.

I wish you well

cheers - John

If you want to get a fine on your window screen park at the complex. They won't move you on but they will fine you. I would head to the nearest c/ park and park there.BUT EVERY ONE WILL BE WANTING A SPOT THERE SO I WOULD BOOK LIKE NOW.

Gee I am glad I didn't read this before I stayed in Moe caravan park the other week. Pulled in there just on dark and stayed the night, was not a bad park with great showers.
