Taroom Caravan Park is only $15 p/n powered and $10 p/n unpowered. Just drive in and choose your spot and Yogi Bear will come around in the late arvo for the money.

The amenities are clean, if a little rustic, and the showers are nice and hot.

Like a lot of CP's in the Surat Basin, they intend bringing in cabins for the local workers. So caravans will be down on the lower level nearer the river. I don't know how far away this change is though.

This is an RV friendly town, so hopefully they'll still make room for us somewhere. There is a move to open up the showgrounds for our use.
