wintering near Grenfell

Well another birthday has come and gone.

This month I am clearing out the camper and replacing the fly screens all around.    Would like to wash and re-waterproof the canvas if possible.  Getting this vehicle ready for selling late September.

Still undecided whether to get a ute and a caravan or a coaster.   Plenty of time to consider tho.

Dawa.......by a warm fire.

Good to hear from you again Dawa - you would need that warm fire down there - lovely and warm here in QLD -

One other thing to consider re a ute and caravan, is two registrations, and two insurances! Motorhome only one rego and one insurance. We have a friend who travels in here small motorhome towing a closed in trailer (even has a clothes line attached to the side-one of those ones you put on a fence and it lays flat when not in use) - she is considering getting a small caravan to actually live in, and use the motorhome to tow it and for storage.

Good luck whatever you decide - enjoy your warmth - your little "hut" looks quite cosy.

That's the thing about birthdays... they come and go. Focus on the moment, I say... nothing beats sitting in front of a nice fire on a winter's night. I'm sure you're looking forward to doing that again tonight! I intend to follow the sun on my trip around Oz but I will miss those fireside moments. HB, Dawa.

sit by the fire in the day time only.   night time is for bed and a good book.

Not interested in around OZ......all that driving.   Lots of places on this side of the isle.

dawa did you check all your birthday greetings in 'I digress...' ? We were hoping you'd find them. Maybe we should have posted in this section. Hope it was a good one.
