Charlies Mine camp qld

staying at Charlies Mine camp 2.14ks south/east of Coen QLD (Cape area ) Gold coin donation asked for. ,but looks like not many want to part with their gold coin,,so who knows how long this top spot will last for.!!! toilets/ pit fire/ showers/ water. Made me think about how many are camped here and we look like we are the only ones who have put $5 in the box. Some look like they have come here to prop for the whole of the winter. Just where will they go to bludge when these top places are long closed, due to their stingy and free loading mentality. Also had a look at another top spot called The Bend Camp 2.43ks north of Coen.

We always put a donation in a donation box if it is asked for - but we do know of some people who stay for weeks in "free/donation camps" and put it a measly $5 for their time there. Some people we met recently come up from Victoria every year to spend several weeks in a good little spot, that asks for a donation, this is their annual holiday!!! Don't know if they put donation in or not.
