In Perth!

From the timber country around Manjimup/Pemberton to Augusta and up to Perth.  The weather has been a bit cool and damp but the country is fascinating and makes it all worthwhile!  I viewed the Cape Lighthouse, karri forests along the coast, jarrah forests at Lake Wellington Dam and finally - a last nite at Heron Point - on to Perth.

Managed to catch up with some Grey Nomads here - Gypsy Rover (Chris), Vic & Carol and John & Irona - weather great, catching up with family, well, Life is Good!

May you be traveling well,

It's amazing to read all the different GN reports on the various places they're visiting from all over Oz. Such a lot to see!

I think he said somewhere he was leaving yesterday for Karajini Milo, he did have Wombat's contact details.

He was meeting with relatives in Perth to go with him so not sure if he's still in Perth or has headed off, may be out of range.

Dam cold in Perth at the moment and raining, some country towns minus 4 degrees at night, not sure what Karajini will be like, the good winter weather up north usually doesn't start until Carnarvon and above at this time of the year.

perhaps he has been too busy to make contact, or out of range, I did not know he was around Perth.

Been a few posts about his presence in Perth but you were absent for awhile house sitting so may have missed them.  Gypsy Rover was also in Perth area (may still be) and was going to contact you also.  May have left by now to travel east via Nullabor.

No worries Chris, this cold weather isn't too good is it?  At least we are getting some nice days though between the showers, LOL ! smile

Maybe you and Wombat could catch up before you move on, hope he sees this post and pm's you etc (or send him one).

Apparently Wombat wasn't tied up with house sitting but other urgent matters....

PS:  Did you end up going to Willow Brook Farm or Gin Gin???

I'm still here Vic, no word yet when we will be heading east.  Anton was due to leave Perth on the 7th to meet up with his daughter.

Cheers!

Chris
