This is Jessie ,, a little dog at the lost dogs home here in Echuca. Hoping to get her next week. Have no where.to keep her at daughters with 2 babies inside and a Rottweiler outside. I offered to pay boarding fees till I can pick her up, on top of the purchase
price but they won't do that, so I'm waiting to hear.back from the boarding kennels.
Oops, can't upload photo from my phone. Will go.see if my laptop is charged.
They said she is a terrier but I don't know what sort. Can see a bit of Chihuahua there. She is only about half the size of Mindy the foxy I had who died at the age of 17 years and weighed about 7 kgs.
She is too fine for a foxy or jack Russell. A bit over a year old, very quiet and shy. I'm presuming she might have been badly treated before being rescued.
She is cute and will bring you many years of pleasure. Our last two ****er spaniels have been from the pound giving a dog a new home and another chance in life is what it is all about. Both of them loved travelling in the van
Well done HW she looks great and no doubt will be a fine travelling companion.
We very recently added to our family by adopting a pug, so now we have two. She was a puppy farm bitch in Qld until rescued by Pugs SOS. She spent quite a deal of time in foster care until her medical issues were sorted.
As no one in Qld wanted to adopt her she was sent down to Vic, where as it turns out we were lucky enough to adopt her as she has the most wonderful loving nature. So much so that she at times is a bit of a pain as she is always under your feet and you dont realise, LOL.
I've got her booked in to the boarding kennels for next week and have also bought all the stuff needed e.g. bed, harness, leads, doggy doo bags. Etc, etc.
Will go tomorrow to see when I can pick her up and get all the paperwork done.
Good onya HW. I always get my dogs from the pound, not disapointed yet. Sasha, my present Wolfhound/Rhodesian Ridgeback, was put in the pound because people had to move into a rental house...no dogs. Their loss, my gain. I'm sure you'll have many years of enjoyment and company.

No, I'm not busy, I did it right the first time.
Self-powered wheelie walker, soon a power chair (ex. Nomad)
I picked up Jessie today. What a beautiful little girl. She sat quietly beside me strapped to seat belt, watching my every move.
My daughter took a photo earlier before I took her to the kennel for the next week's stay.
Will put one up when I can get one off her phone.
Size is good HW.I posted my first pics 3 weeks ago, useing windows 8 ,had a lot of problems. Thanks to help from Sheba and Duh managed to get it right. Jessie looks beut and I hope you and your new partner enjoy life together. Alan
Jessie looks to be very cute, love them ears....the rest looks a bit chihuahua but the ears look like they have been stolen from a kelpie...ha ha!
You will have a lovely little friend for life in Jessie, if we ever meet on the road I am sure my boys will fall in love!
That little pug girly is a bit cute too!

No, not at all. I'm intrigued by this new breed. A bonsai dog. Another 1st. lol.
I love the kelpie and wanted a small dog, looks like I've achieved both.
Just beautiful Marj, well done. Many happy hours ahead. How long are you down this trip? I'm not back for a while so probably won't see you this time. Perhaps next year when I head north again.
Enjoy your new baby.
Tess
I leave here on Monday Tess. Will have been here 8 weeks. Have given the family a good start with the new baby. Now for a rest for myself, will take it easy on my way back north and relax with Jessie beside a few watering holes.
I'm looking forward to travelling with my little mate.
She looks like a bright little thing Marje and I'm sure she'll give you lots of love in your life. One of my boys was "rescued" from an abusive home and although he still has some resultant hangups, he's given me ample reward for taking the time to sort through his "post traumatic stress". And as I tell people, they will never want to divorce me and take half the house.
