There is about a 400mtr strip of these wonderful flowers 6ks west of the Great Northern highway on the Wanarra East road to Perenjori in WA. they are now starting to appear in the most unusual places & the way they just appear in a gravel pit or disturbed road side edges.
AHA ... I wondered why you would have taken photos of wreaths ... from this explanation, I now realise they are "wild" flowers that grow in this formation.
these wild flowers are posted elsewhere as well (althu the ones on this post are superior looking). Apparently wreath flowers grow where the ground has been disturbed typically by road forming machinery like graders or mine sites etc
