For crying out loud I wish the weather would just go uo a Couple of Degrees so's I can Go to Greens lake for a couple of Days and a few more on the Mighty River

I think I got a bit sunburnt today and yesterday at Wauchope NSW. Has been fantastic weather areond the mid north coats NSW.

Hi JC, yes we went to the show. We just bought a 2 year old Avan Ray II, and decided to take it for a short trip up to Wauchope and check out the c'van camping show while we were there. We stayed at Breckenridge Farmstay on Rocky Ck Road, Wauchope for a couple of nights just to get a feel of the difference between living in a camper trailer and a caravan. Lovely couple who own the place, and a nice quiet spot to stay. We had a great weekend and enjoyed the comfort of the van. Wasn't it fantastic "winter" weather.

I thought that the whole point of being a nomad was that you could follow the good weather. Spend your winters in the north and your summers in the south. Or am I missing something?

At Oakey right now Jimbo . Not known as the warmest place in SE Qld. , but it's 19 in the van now at around 6am .

No heater going , and forecast is for 25 today .

Just keep shivering , they reckon that helps to get you warm . smile

 Jimbo, we have spent 2012 and 2013 winter in southern SA & WA respectively, so we know where you are coming from.  Roll on Winter 2014, plan to spend that one in Darwin.
