Bilyana between Cardiff and Tully

Bilyana  Rest Area Camps6 #28 is just another overnight stopover unless you have some local knowledge, instead of driving round the loop  go immediately to the right and straight up to the rear of the ground where on turning left you find a huge grassed area. This is a fine area blocked from the road by many trees and bushes but close to the railway line.

I was given this information from campers at Bushy Parker so I drove there but looking first at the wetlands at Ingham. The trip was only around 120kms so I was there early but decided to stay, there were already a few caravans as well as some on the main loop and I have just had an interesting happy hour with couples from 2 other vans.

Did put up the awning to see if the new method of storing the legs on the awning worked and it was easier than before and given practice will be much better. There is a drinking water tap on one of the table setups and together with flushing toilets makes this a good overnight camp.    John
