We enjoyed the Shady Lane caravan park, loved the trees and general friendly atmosphere. I cant remember their fees, but in the busy season they were all expensive.

Its on the road out to the Gorge, not far from the hospital.

Thoroughly agree - was very reasonable in price comparison in July 2012. Staff were super. Grounds and facilities great.

We stayed at the Big 4 in Lower Bridge. It was $45 per night but gave us the Big 4 discount for pensioners, that was in August 2013 so peak season. It was a lovely spot with big shady trees and grassed sites.

Stayed at Shady Lane, great spot. Also stayed at Springvale NEVER go there again. Dirty, noisy and over run by backpackers. Nice freshwater croc in the pond thru.

We are currently in Big 4 Low Level, we were here last year, same time for the mango season. Loved the staff (Des & Diane & Nicole) and the beautiful shady trees, green lawns. We have a big rig and no issues, with getting a big enough comfortable site.
