I found this site in 2011 and have had my 4 x 100AH batteries reconnected since then with Method 4 and all seems to be working great.
I did previously have them set up as in Method 2 as advised by a friend in the Solar industry without it seems any problems but this different
set up seems to be a better way to keep all batteries equal and hopefully better life.
Cheers Kev.

Thanks Kev
good explanations also - I use method 3 at the moment, may go to method 4 when we get new batteries.
Why is it so? Professor Julius Sumner Miller, a profound influence on my life, who explained science to us on TV in the 60's.
Thanks KevKim, that must be one of the best explanations (the link) on connecting multiple batteries.
