Was just reading on another forum where a post mentioned that the Dubbo City Holiday Park has just introduced a $3 per night for dogs, this is an extra charge on top of the site fee and is not a bond as such it is an extra charge. It is not on their web page as it has only been introduced. The other thing that struck me a little over the top on the same issue was someone posted that they charge $3 for one dog and $20 for extra dog.
Hope they have a doggie bath and washing machine For their blankets ,and a play ground
For dogs then. What a rip off.Why don't they just say
They don't want dogs!!!!!!!!!
Of course, whar we should be doing if out that way is to first of all know where we will park up for overnight and then go to this CP and express interest in staying, when they quote the dog deal ask exactly what we get for that price and what does the dog paying 20.00 get that the other one doesn't.....then have a quiet laugh at them and say no thank you, i had intended staying for a week but not at with rip offs like that, oh and I will ensure that all my travelling friends hear of this too....and walk off (with nose suitably high in the air!)

In any other business this extra thingo re dog/cat/bird/ gold fish or what ever would be classed as price gouging, but in the caravan park industry it is classed as fair trade...Not in my business ethics ...They are a law unto them self when it comes to pricing.
I can only imagine that the charges are a reflection of bad experiences, ie bad dog owners.
As for two dogs, spare a thought for someone who has to put up with a ****bag neighbour who has a dozen yappy rodents.
You do not have to put up with dogs barking,go to your council and lodge a complaint, and in most areas you need a special permit to have that many dogs.
