Lake elphinstone

We stayed here for 10 days, right on the lake and free, there were garbage bins, showers and toilets showers were only cold ones but the water itself was warm anyway. Bit busy on weekends with locals as are most of these places but quiet otherwise, great for a kyak ,bird watching or just watching the sunrise,no problems at all parking any size rig. No water or electricity thou.

woul recommend this place to stay

cheers

Hi - stayed at Elphinstone two years ago - a great spot - there used to be a donkey boiler - is it not working now?

The water from the lake can be used for washing - yourself, dishes or clothes.

No donkey boiler now and no lights at night in loos or around the park so total darkness except for campers and fires,we had a massive storm here last night and much cooler today ,a bit of a respite
