On my way to Green's Lake

Everything goes little bit adventurous this time.

I started more than a week ago, and got my alternator blown just some 75 km from Lightning Ridge, where I now live most of time. As Murphy's law likes pairs, battery gone as well. Costed me a lot. But finally I got it all going now. I'm now halfway from Lightning Ridge to the Green's Lake. Will be there sometime tomorrow evening, or day after tomorrow. I will be sorely missing the Bore Baths of LR, though. They are great. Well. Greens will provide something for a change. Hope to get good size Yellow Belly, or a Red Fin. If motorboats won't spoil the fun... Best wishes and greetings to all!

Ziggy

Paul. Keep on coming down. When you get to Shepparton, take the road to Elmore/Bendigo. About 50ks along there and about 1ks before Corop you will see a sign for Greens Lake turning to the right if coming from Shepp.

There is now a map on the Greens Lake sub forum - with the co-ordinates - thanks to Rocky Lizard for posting it, and Cindy for making it a "sticky".

Hi Paul.

Thank you. Sorry for answering just now, but I was pretty busy with setting up, etc. Couple of days was rainy, so no much to do. I think of staying here for a few weeks, but I may stay even two or three months. This is a great place to stay for a while, and many wonderful people to met with. I see, others has already answered your question how to get here. If you have GPS it is easy and it is only about 1058 km or so from Lightning Ridge. From where you ate certainly below 1000 klicks. I'll be happy to met you back here as well.

Ziggy

Glad to see you're going down to Greens' Paul.  The company there should be very good for you.

Take care,

Sheba.
