about 20kms from Balmoral, and is not listed anywhere at this point in time. There are free camps around this great expanse of water, however stayed at CP. It is rustic, the sites are large, heaps of wood and fire pits for happy hour. The bathroom facilities are excellent as far as plenty of hot water, and good showers and toilets, only thing is they do need a good clean, but bearable.

The people that have the lease at present have just taken it over and the previous people had let the place really run down. The manager Simon, is a bit of a character but a lovely guy.

The peace and wildlife and birds are abundant and because of it being a quieter area they are not afraid and will check you out while taking photos.

$25 per powered site, $20 per non-powered site. Water is available but I would not drink it, can be if boiled apparently. Bring on drinking water. Definitely on the list of favourites.
