Cavendish is just over 20ks from Hamilton in the lower west of Victoria. Great little camp at the sportsground. Power, showers, toilets. Parking up the top near the park buildings. $7.50 if plugged into power, $6.00 if you don't power but need the other facilities.
The camp manager comes around after 6 pm every night to collect fees and give out keys.
You can also park through the gate, down the hill by the river. Quite a few camped down there going by the amount of dogs barking.
Up where I was there was a tent camper and a caravan.
Quiet spot far enough away from the road not to here the traffic.
We must have just missed you Sandsmere, we arrived around 10am. There is going to be a Hotrod show and shine here this coming weekend and there might be a problem with sites being available. There is room for big rigs as well
