WIKICAMPS for ipad or iphone

Hi folks, there is a great app for ipad, iphone and now I believe android called wikicamps, cost about $5 but worth every cent. Full map displays all free camps, caravan parks, dump points etc. Some entries even have user comments, photos and other important details. It can be used in conjunction with an installed GPS (I have tom tom) to navigate you there. I swear by it as being better than Camps Australia it does a better job and is constantly updated. Enjoy.

I had this installed on my phone for the last 10 days on trial. Fantastic until I tried to pay for it.
It's wanting passwords for Google and/or a gmail address I've never used. Took me about 3 days to get that sorted. Then today it was carrying on about being locked out of Google.
So I have now uninstalled it. Will try again in a few days in the hope a fresh install will work much better.

We use and like both Wikicamps and Camps 6.

We have Wikicamps on our IPads and find it very useful, especially the comments and photos.

We also use Camps 6 but is it usually in the Motorhome so if we are at home the IPads are usually nearby so much easier to access. Also Camps 6 does not have comments from people who have used the sites.

I reinstalled wikicamps tonight, paid and it went straight through. Success. Such a useful app.

I have had it on My Android for close to 12 months and find a great tool in conjunction with the camps book. My hubby would read out a possible place to stay in the camps book and I would look up the photo's and comments on Wiki camps. A very useful app

I have WikiCamps on my laptop also now after trying for a couple of months to update to Windows 8.1  ...... It's great and no different to the iPad system ... Highly recommend, but remember the 8.1 upgrade is around 4g, so make sure you have enough data . I use nothing else but WikiCamps and talking to fellow campers ... Don't use hard copies of anything now ... Use the books for fire starters ....
