re caravan parks hi we moved from sa to vic , we are in hill top resort swan hill , gee has this place gone to the dump, use to be a nice park ,but it has changed owners a few months ago ,and now the rain water comes out of the taps brown same as the drinking water ,was warned by other caravaners that to boil the water before you use our first trip to the shops was to stock up on water ,we ask for a refund but was told no way , so roll on next week and back on the road .
Hi Fred and Pat , we have learnt to only pay night by night now because if we don't like the caravan park it's a long week . If the park has the pay 6 nights and have 7 th night free policy they usually adjust payment to suit if we decide to stay the week . We are starting to free camp more and enjoying it . Hope you coping with the heat ok .... personally i do not like it this hot . Safe travels .
Hi fpw there is a site called badger which lists caravan parks in all states and there are comments and ratings on caravan parks by travelers who have used them I have found it fairly accurate especially when it comes to problems like the one you identified.

Take a bottle of the stuff to the local water board and show them it: ask them if it is safe to drink...
