Second Time Around

We three, Monty our little dog, Errol and I having just retired and are readying ourselves for life on the road.

After several caravan and camping shows, trolling all the forums and asking many ,many questions we have now made our choices and are almost ready to begin..yeah.

Our Dmax should be ready for delivery in the next week and the van will be ready in early May. We are getting all the little things sorted, Errol on the outside, me sorting the inside..oh what to pack.

last time 12 years ago we did it for two years in an old Mitza van, just a platform in the back with a mattress, a suitcase of clothes each under this and from the back seat to the back door 2 sets of stacker draws with all dry food, fruit and vegetables, water and cooking gear either side, (no fridge) table and chairs on the top, home made roll out awning..happy as pigs in mud.

This time, much older and stiffer of course and wanting some of life's little luxuries..can't wait to head off on our first trip and look forward to meeting up with many of you in person,

cheers  Sue, Errol and Monty

Thanks all for the welcome.
We are so looking forward to getting out there, and I am sure will call on all your experiences and knowledge as we get underway and find out just how much we don't know. Trying hard to make sure we have all the bigger safety wise, important bases covered, but for sure we will have lots to learn along the way.
Cheerio to next time.
