Free camps around Gladstone for big rig

Hi all

we are heading over the the gladstone area to look for work(I am a mechanical fitter) and would like to free camp as most caravan parts do not take big rigs(we are 19m long) as we take up too much room.

any have any suggestions

cheers

The only free camp I can suggest in that area is Boynedale Bush camp (Google it) it is though quite a way out of Gladstone, and there is a 7 day limit, which when we were there was not eforced. No water and no power. Excellent camp though. Dump point at Calliope - Cheers

Calliope river is quite close to Gladstone, but 48 hour. Should be able to take a big rig in there OK. Boynedale is 7 day max and so is Futter creek so could switch between the 2biggrin

We have a 10 acre property at the Calliope River. Looking for some assistance with yard work for 1-2 weeks in exchange for a free spot to park. Prefer a couple, non-smoking and must be fit. Cheers
