Hi all, I am Bevan, the Beloved is Yvonne, we are staunch members of the Australian Caravan Club, Q00294, so some of you will have heard of us, (some will wish they hadn't!) we live on the Sunshine Coast and have been retired for 13 years, been all over our beaut country with the Jayco Freedom and the mighty Fairlane, and since 2008, a BF11 Falcon, both excellent tugs. We moved here from Perth in 2001.
The only pet I have is Yvonne, she doesn't use the internet, but always enjoys a good ole gas bag at happy hour.
I read through the boss's rules for this forum, and decided we were among like minded friends so decided to join. The only other caravan forum I now use is our own ACC forum, another friendly one with no sniping at others.
We have family in Katherine, (three gorgeous grand daughters, Melb, two grand kids, and our son in Capella, so always somewhere to go. We do Katherine every winter, I love it up there, a very "colourful" town, and the natives are definitely friendly, love 'em. We flew up last year, may do that again in June, and take the Ghan down, that is a good trip, we did it in 2011.
We live on a one acre block here in the hinterland in the Blackall range, Glasshouse country, and love our garden, fruit trees, and veges, Yvonne is the flower girl, I do the eating type stuff. Lots of fun.
Love our travels, but always good to come home to paradise. I'm sure we will have lots to talk about with you all.
If the pickie works, that's me in the stripy shirt, you can work out the rest.
