Rural NSW

Hello all

We are looking to travel through rural NSW in a few weeks from Bendigo, via Dubbo and into QLD.

we would like to free camp along the way and welcome any recommendations of places to go and to avoid too!

we have a couple of dogs that are well behaved so if we go to a caravan park, it will be dog friendly and we use wiki camps for this, it has not let us down.

thanks in advance ... Weg

Morning Weg,

Oura Beach is a great free camp on the banks of the Murrumbidgee just out of Wagga, we stayed there a few months back.

South of Dubbo - between Dubbo and Molong or east of Parkes (west of Wellington) is a little town called Yeoval. They need tourist dollars. A new museum has just opened called 'Banjo...not just a poet'. You can stop at the showground for $8/night -power. Toilets currently run off town bore water which makes them look dirty but if you are self-contained that won't worry you. They've just had rain and everything looks green. Show Day is May 13th this year so be aware of that.
