We are heading up to Tin Can Bay from Port Stephens, in a small caravan in June, and looking for suggestions for an overnight stop between Tenterfield and Stanthorpe. Don't need anything flash, but a shower and a place to get a feed and a drink would be a bonus. Otherwise just a nice quiet out-of-the-way stopover would be good.
About 10kms south of Tenterfield is a small and well out of the way spot. Something rock. Just toilets. At Wallangarra on the border there is an overnighter. Toilets on site.Not too far from a pub.
hi we stopped at the rest area just south of tentafield and would be fine if not leaving your van so we stayed in the show grounds very clean toilets and hot showers and tidy area to park and power available also a dump site
