Dalmeny Point. Heaven on green grass.

This morning most caravans and MH's have moved out. So for just a little while I will take advantage of the solitude and uninterrupted views. How spoilt am I?

I have met some lovely people over the past week and I guess there will be more move in as I have booked to stay for another week.

I have had people parking virtually on top of me, people park away from me, and all inbetween. With all that and at times feeling just a bit claustrophobic when a big bus parked right next to me, it is a wonderful spot. Great spot to just chill out and not do a lot at all. I think I might just be able to get use to this GN lifestyle now I don't have a time line for any functions or babysitting duties.

Gday...

Firstly - congratulations on the photos

Obviously, you are quickly becoming a seasoned GN and adopting to this wondrous lifestyle.

but I really must ask, coz I cannot find Dalmeny Point in Google Maps. Just where is Dalmeny Point?

Cheers - John

Thanks John, I think it was more good luck than good management.

Dalmeny Point is about 7ks north of Narooma on the the NSW south coast. About 30 ks from Bermagui. Magic spot and a really good price also, in off season that is. I think their prices for peak season are very high.

Weekly price $121 if you have a concession card, $140 if you do not.

It was a long time ago but I have very fond memories of the south coast of NSW. I lived at Tathra for a while and it was magic. I'm looking forward to re-visiting all the great spots down that way.

Gary I loved Tathra. What a special place. I was lucky enough to spend 5 days there at the CP owned by Frankie J Holden. Friends shared their travel auction voucher with me, it was wondeful and I have to say the cleanest park I have ever been into.

I just love it here though and so does Rufus. So when are you and PJ finally going to hit the road so you can share your stories also?

Here's the schedule, Shekon. The local dentist will keep working on my gum problem so that I can be fitted with dentures. I see the head & neck specialist in Sydney in September for an assessment as to my suitability for dentures. (They harbor bacteria and currently I'm highly susceptible to infection). In October I see the oncologist in Port Macquarie. Sooooo, if all goes well this year, I'll be on the road. But at this point all I can do is hope. Bubba's rooting for me so that helps.
