Sunshine Coast Queensland Scout Camps - Set next to beautiful lakes

If you are travelling through the Sunshine Coast looking for somewhere to stay that is affordable and unspoiled then I can recommend two Scout Camps.  Both set in the bush with beautiful lakes adjacent.  Fabulous places to rest and recuperate for the next leg of the journey.  Camp Cooroora at Cooroy (inland from Noosa) has a great oven where I made a roast dinner.  Magnificent views from your Caravan over the lake.  Showers & toilets are basic, but clean.

Dunethin Rock Scout Camp is close to Mudjimba, Coolum on the Sunshine Coast and much cheaper than the local Caravan Parks.  Basic clean toilets and showers, campfires are allowed.  Feels like you are camping in the forest.

Make sure you ask the ranger for directions when you book so you don't get lost finding it.

Dogs need tick protection collars during winter & spring in Queensland.
