He are on the road in a Coachmen Mirada and as all who own one will do doubt realise they are sometimes difficult to get work done on them due to the fact that they are American.
We have had our share of experiences as I am sure others have and we would like to be able to share. We have started a Facebook Page called Coachmen Mirada Owners Australia so perhaps this can happen. If you are on Facebook and we can help or you can help us please go there and like our page.
Not sure where I should share this information? Maybe Technical or maybe hints and tips?
Mostly related to helping all Coachmen owners (us included) to access parts and services related to our vehicles. We are sure we are not alone out there when it comes to this!

Maybe Technical for parts/services/repairs and General for trips and Get togethers for any rallies etc?
Welcome from me too.....

you are correct. it is a 330DS and we bought it from people who imported and had it converted. We are hoping that we can all share experiences (good and bad) about having and imported vehicle.
Ours was shipped by a roll on roll off vessel from Baltimore. Did this to avoid having it shipped as deck cargo on a container vessel as we had heard of several occasions where vehicles had been badly damaged. Surprisingly freight from the east coast was cheaper than from the west coast. If you can find an importer who will bring it in for you then you will save a bundle as they will have a contract with the shipping company. So depending upon the circumstances it could cost anything from $12,000 to $18,000. Duty, GST and luxury car tax will cost around $15,000. If quarantine require it to be cleaned before they will release it then that is anyone's guess. Custom agent fees will be about $4,000. Conversion about $50,000 and up.
