yes yet another solo nomad

biggrinbiggrinbiggrinHello, my name is Fran and have been dreaming for this day for a few months, reading all the exciting trips, great picks and advice.

I'm in the middle of looking for a motorhome to call my own, I rang the RACV and they don't do inspections on motorhome, my delima is I'm mechanically challenged, can anyone suggest who I could contact to inspect a vehicle for me? It is in Melbourne thanks and look forward to getting to know you

Welcome Frangipani, you will find a tremendous amount of help here on the GN forum as I have. We got our van just after Christmas so are very new at the GN game. Good luck with your motorhome search..

Welcome from us too Frangipani. Sorry we can't help with your query but we're sure someone will. Maybe if you put the question in the Techies corner someone will see it. Have fun.

Welcome to the gang Fran, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Maybe you could ask your own mechanic if he could look at the engine side of things at least. Next have a good look for any water marks inside, if so, means a leak somewhere. Make sure you give it a good test drive yourself and are comfortable driving and reversing it, most important.
