For those interested in following advancements in caravan sway control. Myself ...Its just out of interest, for now, I want to see some user feedback...so the market confirms its good before rushing in. There is a Aussie dealer in Melbourne, with some stock, who is planing a installed supply and fit service.
Load you caravan correctly;not overloaded. Distribute the weight correctly ;drive according to the conditions then you will not need any antisway system.

The points of difference with the local product is:
The local product applies left and right brakes where the Tuson applies either the left or right brakes to steer the caravan.
The local product will only fit to their suspension, so its not available to everyone.
Cost could be a big consideration, I hear noises about the local one around $1700.00 and see USA self import $US550.00 DIY.
But just watch for now, maybe another supplier will enter this market and take the price lower.
My van has Cruisemaster independent coil suspension & ALKO ESC fitted. I've been told there are quite a few suspension & brake systems out there that is compatible with ALKO ESC. Its best to call ALKO or one of their approved fitment centres to confirm.
Mate we have just ordered our new Van It also has Cruisemaster independent coil suspension And we are haveing the Alko ESC unit fited for just under a Grand.,
Alko fit it them self.a t the dealership. I would soon pay an extra few bucks to by local. and have it fitted by the manufacture than save a few bucks on some thing from the stats and fit it your self. Just my 2 cents worth,:D
Cheers

I have that thought quite often as well, all this WDH. friction sway bars or dual cam, now ESC.
Why bother with safety enhancement devices, as it tows rock solid.

All the above is true but there is always that one unexpected unanticipated event that WILL happen believe me this is true, After 35 years on the road and around 9,000,000 ks one thing I have learnt is to expect the unexpected,
You can be doing every thing 100% right, Speed, load, road position ECT. then something will happen, you could blow a steer tyre, some one overtaking could cut in real early causing you to brake hard or take a dramatic change of coarse to avoid a collision. You are trundling along in scrub country and suddenly there is a razor back sized pig running out of the scrub a few yards in front of you and drastic action is needed to stay in one piece.
I have confidence in my ability to handle 99% of what may or may not happen, but if Wendy is having a drive I need to know that I have in place what ever it takes to keep or dream from becoming a nightmare.
Just my thoughts
Cheers

Hi All am finally back on forum after a few years have now got the courage to tow a van again after accident . Our van got out of control just after a triple D truck past us speeding and the wind it caused sent the van in to an unstoppable sway it was a fatality accident. I have just brought a van and want to install an electric sway control.Would like to know views on which brand to get fitted.I just want to have the peace of mind that I have covered all options in case the unexpected.

That would have been terrible Cliff. Good to see you have not given up.
Just don't turn sharp . Especially after passing a big vehicle . Plenty of wind blowing from front .. Besides the long trucks don't exactly travel slow !! Usually right on their speed limit ..
