Well i've been on the road "solo" for about 6 weeks now, but who's counting. Mostly free camping. Dogs and I are learning quickly especially dogs have learn't not to get up while the frost is still on the ground. I have learnt not to leave your generator at home. Had problems with solar at Texas but with the help of two lovely gentlemen Peter and Rob the problem was solved. Of course while the men did their thing their wives and I got friendly over coffee and campfires. So in the early stages of my travels I'm loving every minute of it. Meeting great people and enjoying our great land. What could be better? Noela and dogs.
Hello there dogsnme - welcome to a great site. I see that you are in St. George - it is a great little place - where do you head from here? Anyway enjoy this great country.
Definitely having fun. Meeting some great people In Bollon at the moment for a few days. Great place for grey nomads. Weather's great and company is fine as well. On the way home to pick up a little trailer to carry all the stuff I have to cart in and out of the camper when I pull up. Will make life a lot easier. Hope to meet a few solos as I travel on. One of my dogs Tommy knows how Millee feels John as he not that far from the ground. Noela.
Thanks Norma. Could be there in the next week or so. But you know what plans are like they change every day. looks like i couldn't miss the yellow bus. Noela
Too cold, she didn't want to get her tummy wet. Millee is the great hunter, here at Torquay cp millee was running around as if a mouse was in front of her, this is in the dark. Ended up lookn up A tree where a little possum was, brought her inside, my little hunter.
