Greetings Earthlings, tonight we are sitting in a free camp, at Robe river, Western Aussie, has free Wi.fi ,dump point . good toilets lots of space , !!And!!, lots of nice people here, was talking to a couple of people at happy hour, they said ,the other day when they were in another free camp, they walked over to have a chat to a group of people having happy hour, they asked , if they could join , they said !!No!!, only Queenslanders could join, so they went to another group, and joined in, can't believe there are people out there like that, Definitely would have to eat more that 27 hot dogs if they want to go to heaven,,, stay excited Nomads ,, Remember, Planet Beautiful is waiting for us all , see you all out there,,,,,,,,, Billeeeeeee,,
That is sad both for both parties. I feel even more sorry for the party of people who declined to have the couple join them. They missed out on the enjoyment of new company. People are funny, so protective at times of their own little patch of whatever.
Still it takes all types, and that is what makes the colourful world we live in.

Billleeee is that the photo of you after eating those hot dogs!!! Does the incident that Billeeeeeee described happen very often? Very ordinary behaviour really.
I don't know about that pugs, if you are one of those two in your AV, you look very polite and to borrow a saying from the original poster, very excited.

Very rude of those people indeed - never had it happen to me - and really never heard of it before, unless from a certain "group" who have regular chapter meetings, and ask you to pay $5 to join them for happy hour!!!!!!!!

That photo looks like the banjo playing kid from Deliverance grown up...
I have come across some people that travel with friends that stick to themselves and do not mix with others, no so long back there were 4 vans of friends that drew their caravans up like a circle of wagon trains and had their happy hours in the middle, they were not interested in mixing or inviting others to their happy hours. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Would say Vic, that they all sucked Lemons for breakfast, sad, but we are all out there, Lemon suckers ,cone suckers, hehehe !!And!!, Normal people like us ,,,Hmmmmm wouldn't you say that Vic..... stay excited about life ,,as we only get one shot at it,,, Billeeeeeee
Some just aren't interested Billeeeeeee, yes they are out there, like saying hello to other RV users, I say it once, if they don't reply I say it again louder......if they ignore that then I ignore them for the rest of my time in their vicinity.....some are just plain ignorant and not worth knowing anyway....
I always say hello to other campers whenever eye contact is made. In my experience, pretty well everyone has responded likewise. However, I would never ask to be invited to a gathering of other campers unless I knew them. If someone wished to join me for a drink and a chat then I would normally be happy to have them over.
I imagine there could be some times when a group of friends are sharing a holiday together and would prefer their own company exclusively and that's their right. So don't get all hot and bothered about being rejected. There are usually plenty of other groups to join up with, as was the case in the original post.
Well said Fastcoach. The majority of people are very happy go lucky and love meeting other people. Maybe the group involved could have handled it better and explained they chose to be alone this time. But at the end of the day there are lots of other people who would only be too happy to spend time in your company. Go find them.
