Travelling From Bathurst NSW to NSW Coast conditions

Good Morning my wife and myself are new to this forum and have only been Grey Nomads for 3 years and are looking forward to hearing everyone's great stories. Can anyone tell us if they have travelled from Bathurst NSW to the NSW coast, we were just wondering what the road conditions are like for caravanners.  Are there many hills and winding roads.

Welcome to the gang Domo, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I haven't travelled that road my self but you gave over the ranges as you know but have been told it's not too bad. Someone will be along shortly I'm sure, if not maybe pop you question into "General" as you will get heaps of help in there with maybe even alternative road/s.

G'day Domo,

Where on the coast were you going to as there are several ways you can go to the North or South of Sydney.

Cheers, Rick

Welcome from us as we'll and best of luck on your trip
I have traveled that that way few years ago (2009)and the road was ok, there was some road works when we were going but all was ok. Cannot give you much details as we were in a car and and of course if you go through the blue mountains the road is windy but front memory was a beautiful drive but we didn't come up with any problems if anything loved the views
Enjoy your journey but I'm sure someone else will we able to assist you more :)
