3D Painting

DSCF2192.JPGThis is a medium in which I am experimenting. Besides being a painting, it is also bringing the subject out of the background (ocean).

The small seafood café is made from teak and boats and birds are all had made . It gives the realism a different aspect. The frame is handmade and carved.

I sold this one very quickly, to a lovely couple who had a house near the beach and love  the picture as it goes with the seaside themes in their home.

I would be interested to read any comments thanks.DSCF2195.JPG

Thankyou Pugs,
I realise they are not every ones cup of tea, but I really enjoy making them as there is a lot of concentration and eye for detail required.
Thankyou again .
Cheers, Peter
