Have 'stumbled upon' another weekend activity. Was planning on stopping at the Mangowine Homestead for a night - and find there is a tribute concert on Saturday as part of the Nungarin Harvest Festival which is on for 3 days. Way cheaper than the Kulin Races which are also on this weekend. $20 for the concert and only $7 to camp. No power on Saturday as it is being used for the concert but.. so much cheaper than $30 at Kulin per night to camp in a paddock! So will stay for 3 nights. Much hotter now and the land has gone from green and yellow south to gold and brown once I got to the Kalgoorlie Highway.
