Advice on a good place to stay next year

Hi all
I am wandering again in July / August next year and will be meeting a few friendss somewhere in NSW.
This year we stayed at Ballina and the caravan park there was well placed and we had a terrific time.

I am now looking for a new site to stay south of Ballina and to around Port Macquarie. It will be for a week so a place with some decent facilities and access to nice country or activities would be good.
I am sure there are many in here with a greater amount of knowledge than this Nth Qlder.

Any advice appreciated

I am sure it is lovely country just hard to pick from a map

And I promise not to mention State of Origin after we win again next year :D

Sorry, I can't help you with that area but I suggest you post your question in the general forum. It will reach more people there. Recommendations is more for if you're recommending a place.
