Had an easy drive down to Carcoar Dam, stopping at Orange for some provisions and looked at 12 volt compressors, we both bought one after having the flat at Binnaway we felt at risk. I bought the best I could after being told about cheap compressors taking forever to pump, it will do 150psi at 70 ?? per hour.
Looked at the turbines to decide the wind direction and found a spot near the dam was out of the wind. Had a good couple of days here and just done jaffles, shredded tuna with tomatoes and capers the first with the standby banana and sugar the second, Dennise cooked up vegetables and had a couple of vegetable jaffles.
Nothing eventful happening but finding many other campers to discuss travelling with. Did the gearbox oil level check and added half a small bottle but that only needed a 17 mil spanner the diff was another matter and it will have to wait til I can use what looks like a 24 mil spanner to move the checking nut. Had access to a garage full of spanners when I did it last at Frankston.
The amended plan now is to drive to Wagga Wagga on Monday for a couple of days then Howlong and Scotts Beach to arrive at Greens on Monday prior to the Melbourne Cup. John
Beats the hell outta my backyard any day. Nice photos, John. BTW, I bought an air compressor from Supercheap ages ago - haven't had to use it yet - but I also have a foot pump just in case. Actually, the foot pump is great for the bicycle.
Looks like a great spot to be John. Had thought about going there on my way up and diverted to elsewhere, definitely a good spot to look at on the way back down again.

We're been to Corcoar Dam a few times John. Nice spot hey. Your travels seem to be going well. We are still up in the north - now at Kuranda in the rain forest. Keep safe Alice
