Hi all,

What a week. I dont think Ive ever seen so much comment about such a debacle. I was even surprised at so many Members coming out of the woodwork to vote on Wombats Poll and to make comment, Members who stated they rarely post.  I now want it to stop, Im sure we all want it to stop, so lets do it.

I mentioned in one of my posts that we should consider approaching Cindy with a view to requesting her to review her decision. I had a couple of I Agree but no enthusiastic response. I therefore made the approach to Cindy myself to reconsider her decision.  Last night she advised me that her decision stands. I wont go into details of our communications, I accept that decision and respect it, even though I dont personally agree.

So the event is over. No more will be gained by continuing comment, lets pull the curtain down, and get back to normal. I for one will make no more posts on the subject apart from this thread, but only if necessary.

I dont want to run a Poll, but some I Agree postings from Members would be encouraging. If you dont agree, I cant stop you from posting, after all we live in a Democracy. I think enough has been said.

Finally, we have lost some good Members. Wombat I dont know personally, but we have communicated from time to time. I note Members have posted that he has helped them with Avatars and other photographic matters. He has even advised me on photo and posting subjects. Further he is a wealth of knowledge as a Grey Nomad, and I certainly enjoy a game of wits with him at times. Other members lost are just as important.

My suggestion is that members who know those who have left personally, contact them, and try to entice them back.  Lets get back to the One Happy Family point again. Enough is enough.

As one of the three requested to remove our Avatars, please dont think that I am trying to dictate what we should or should not do.  Someone has to make a move to close this subject off, and Ive chosen to do it, hopefully by this thread. I need your help..
